PUBLIC CONSULTATION ON THE
DISPOSAL OF THE DUNCAN PRIMARY FACILITY PROPERTY
The Cowichan Valley School District is holding a public information and consultation meeting for members of the public to provide feedback to the Board of Education on the potential disposal of the Duncan Primary Facility Property, 540 Cairnsmore Street, Duncan, BC.
Input is requested on:
- the advisability of keeping the property in reserve for future educational purposes,
- alternative public uses of the property by a local government or a community organization,
- use of the property for educational purposes by an independent school,
- the advisability of entering into a long-term lease of the property to a private interest, and/or,
- the advisability of selling any of the properties for fair market value to any other person.
The meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at 5:00 pm in the Inspire Room (former Annex) at the School Board Office, 2557 Beverly Street, Duncan, BC.
