Orange Shirt Day - because every child matters.

Sunday, Sept. 30th is the 6th Annual Orange Shirt Day, a day where First Nations, local governments, schools and communities can come together in the spirit of reconciliation and hope for generations of children to come.

Many of our schools are recognizing Orange Shirt Day on Friday, Sept. 28th or on Monday, Oct. 1st. We encourage students and staff to consider wearing orange in remembrance of our residential school history, and our desire to embrace our cultural diversity.
