Over the course of the last few months the Board of Education has been actively engaging with parents, students and community members about a long-range facility plan for the North Zone (Chemainus and Crofton). There has been a lot of information shared between all groups, and we wanted to ensure that even if you haven’t had a chance to join us, you would have access to all the information from the district.
The Board of Education will be making a decision about the long-range facilities plan at a Special Board Meeting on Wednesday, February 27. Below you will find a background letter with up-to-date information, links to all three slide decks and two videos from our meetings, a Frequently Asked Questions sheet, and a follow up video from Lori Hryniuk, Principal of Chemainus Secondary.
If you would like to provide feedback for this board decision, please email trustees@sd79.bc.ca prior to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 26. Only information received before the Special Board Meeting can be considered for debate by the board.
