The Board of Education of School District No. 79 (Cowichan Valley) has identified several District properties as being “surplus” to its operational needs. Two properties have received the approval of the Ministry of Education for immediate disposition. Four properties have concluded the disposition consultation process and are awaiting approval. The appraised values of all six properties approximates $3.6 million.
The range of surplus properties includes: closed and vacant schools; unused portions of existing school properties; and vacant land.
Respondents shall submit their response to the Request for Expression of Interest in electronic form no later than 14:00 hrs (2:00 p.m.), Local Time, March 19, 2021.
