Each school in our district hosts a Ready Set Go event to help ease the transition from home to school. In the month of May, all Kindergarten students who have registered for school in September will be invited to attend the Ready Set Go event at the school in their catchment area. These events are a great way to introduce the child to the school setting, meet the teacher, and become familiar with the classroom environment. Children will participate in a variety of play based learning activities and take home a supply bag with book(s), crayons, scissors, and other literacy related supplies to help build confidence. Ask about the Ready Set Go event at your school when registering your child.
