Use the information below to help guide you in completing your Remedy Submission. This will need to be done each month.
Remedy Submission Timeline for January, 2019
December submissions ended January 22, 2019.
February 1st – 10th – Teachers can submit their remedy forms for January classes.
If you are having problems with the data that is automatically populated in your remedy submission form, please make changes manually and email Gina Kueber at (email@example.com) with changes made.
Second Semester Remedy will be paid to the teacher if their class is over on class size or composition on February 18th. Prior to February 18th, classes may be over in these areas as schools finalize student placements. If teachers are in remedy February 18th or later, they will receive remedy based on a full month.
Remedy Payout – Elementary Teachers
Elementary Teachers should be able to access their accumulated remedy from October November and December in early February. If you selected Option 1 (non-contact time) you will receive an email from Roma Medves stating your accumulated remedy minutes and outlining the process to book your non-contact time. If you selected Option 4 (Resources/Pro-D), you will receive an email from the CDTA stating your accumulated remedy amount and outlining the remedy reimbursement process. Elementary teachers in Lake Cowichan will be advised by the LCTA the agreed upon position/process for your remedy.
Remedy Payout – Secondary Teachers
Secondary teachers will receive a payout for the full first semester remedy, which should be available by the end of March.
