Program Overview
The Cowichan Valley School District is committed to providing a workplace that fosters creativity, inspires excellence, and challenges everyone to embrace growth. The Shsi’em Ts-hay Employee Recognition Program was established to promote an engaged organizational culture that encourages and recognizes employees who demonstrate dedication and innovation in preparing our learners for a world they will create. Ideal candidates will possess values that reflect equity, relationships, environment, harmony, and inclusiveness.  This program is a significant step toward acknowledging the importance of work within our school communities by support staff, operations staff, teachers, principals and vice principals and anyone else who makes a difference in our organization.

Nominations will be submitted May 1st through June 15th and we will celebrate the successful nominations in September of next year with a certificate of recognition and a $100 gift certificate.
