The Board of Education for School District 79 (Cowichan Valley) is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr. Jason Sandquist, CPA, CGA, BAccS to the position of Secretary-Treasurer of the School District effective November 1, 2015.
Mr. Sandquist joined the School District in May of 2000 as Controller and is currently the Assistant Secretary-Treasurer. Having spent the last 15 years at the Cowichan Valley School District, he is well versed in district procedures and history and able to smoothly transition into his new position.
“The recent work of the Board and Administration has created a solid foundation for the needs of our learners. I look forward to supporting the business operations as we continue to work towards success for all studentsâ€, stated Mr. Sandquist.
