Yesterday the Ministry of Education and Child Care provided an update to all K-12 public schools, informing us that the federal holiday for the National Day of Mourning for the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II on September 19th will be observed throughout the BC public education system. This means that all public schools will be closed, including all Cowichan Valley School District Schools.
