The Cowichan Valley School District would like to warmly welcome the newly elected School District 79 Board of Education after final votes were tallied late this evening.
Administration and staff alike welcome our returning Board Trustees, Elizabeth Croft, Barbara de Groot, Randy Doman, Rob Hutchins, Candace Spilsbury and Joe Thorne, and give a special welcome to newly elected Trustee Johanne Kemmler. With the new board set, the District looks forward to continuing on the path towards providing educational excellence to every learner.
Returning and new Trustees will be officially sworn in at the next scheduled Board of Education regular meeting on Tuesday, November 6, 2018.
